IISME Workshops: 
IISME will be offering a number of applicant workshops to inform teachers about the Summer Fellowship Program and the application process in the late fall and early winter.

Education Transfer Plans: 

Exemplary Fellowship projects developed by IISME Fellows from Summer 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 are posted. You can read them online or download these Education Transfer Plans

The IISME Listserv: 
IISME hosts the IISME-L listserv to facilitate the distribution of information and resources to educators!  IISME-L is a bi-weekly e-newsletter that contains no more than 8 links to free teaching resources and curriculum, grant opportunities, educational contests, workshops, local educational events, and other items of interest to educators in the Bay Area and around the world! Subscribe today!

Eisenhower National Clearinghouse (ENC) Online is a K-12 math and science teacher center with lessons and activities, web links, learning community opportunities, ENC Focus Magazine, and much more.

Education Week is the American Education’s online Newspaper of record. Ed Week contains Daily News, Teacher Magazine, Special Reports and Archives for educational research.

Columbia University's Summer Research Program for Science Teachers offers searchable lesson plans for science teachers. 
Columbia University's program also provides a link to science museums, government resources, and other valuable educational resources.

PathwaysToScience is a portal website supporting pathways to the STEM fields: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Particular emphasis is placed on connecting traditionally underrepresented groups with STEM programs and resources, including funding and mentoring opportunities. 

FIRST STEP Online is the culmination of a teacher enhancement project, Federal laboratories' Involvement in Research in Science and Technology for Science Teacher Enhancement (FIRST STEP), funded by National Science Foundation (NSF) and United States Department of Agriculture/ Agriculture Research Service/ Southern Plans Area (USDA/ARS/SPA). It was designed to combine the expertise of a research scientist and a science teacher to bring actual research into middle school classrooms.

Science Buddies provides a number of teacher resources as part of its effort to help strengthen science education. These tools may of interest to both teachers as well as many parents.
