San Francisco Bay Area Teachers The IISME Summer Fellowship Program places Bay Area K-16 teachers of all subjects into high-performance work sites for the summer. Teachers complete a project for their sponsors and are paid $8,200 for their work. Teachers also spend time focusing on ways to transfer their Summer Fellowship experience back to their students and colleagues. In the past 23 years, IISME has offered 2,375 Summer Fellowships to 1,351 individual teachers. Sacramento Area Teachers The IISME Summer Fellowship Program is partnering with LEED to provide fellowships in the Sacramento area in 2008. Teachers will complete a project for their sponsors and are paid $7,400 for their work. Teachers also spend time focusing on ways to transfer their Summer Fellowship experience back to their students and colleagues.
